I am so proud to announce that my newest collection with Camelot Fabrics, Take Flight (which you can view here), is part of an amazing charitable endeavor called The Sew Social Project. Camelot Fabrics has teamed up with the Mothers of Professional Basketball Players and Mary Fons to create quilts for Quilts For Kids, an organization that provides lap quilts and comfort to children with life-threatening illnesses and those who are abused.
Anyone can get involved, and I encourage you all to participate. You can design online your own quilt to be made for Quilt For Kids - it's fun and easy, and you can get started here. Check out what other people have done, and learn more about everyone involved.
What does Take Flight have to do with all this? Camelot Fabrics is donating a portion of all sales of my collection to The Sew Social Project. How amazing! Thank you to Steve and everyone at Camelot Fabrics for involving me in this wonderful charity - now I gotta get online and design my own quilt!
One last thing, check out this STUNNING mood board of Take Flight, put together by the unbelievable talented people at Camelot.... You can see more of their Fall Collections, with mood boards on their Pinterest board here.
