Hello and welcome.

My name is Vita Lane, and I am a graphic designer and illustrator.

I take complex information and present it in a clear and easy-to-digest way that honors the voice of the author or client while maintaining the desired aesthetic, whether it be beauty or sophistication or whimsy or whatnot.

• illustration •

I specialize in illustration for children (and/or the young-at-heart). I use watercolor, pencil, digital, collage, and more often than not, all of those things mixed together to create my art. I am currently seeking representation for illustration work.

I’ve had the privilege of working on such projects as… books, books, and more books, fabric-by-the-yard, an animated music video, wedding invitations and loads of other kinds of stationery, stickers, scrapbooking materials, puzzles, magazines, marketing materials (both print and digital) and more. I’d love to add to this list.

I live on the tiny and beautiful seacoast of New Hampshire with my husband, 2 dogs, and 2 kids in the summer. I practice yoga regularly. I’m left-handed but use righty scissors because they work better. I have a freckle in my left eye. Right now I’m really into home improvement projects and refinishing furniture. And I can recite all 50 states in alphabetical order. Go ahead, test me.
