Beautiful Mess

So I've been on a huge watercolor kick for several months now - a "kick" thats turned into a way of life... so much so that I'm redoing my entire illustration portfolio.... but that's a story for another day.

In between illustration pieces of characters, animals, places and the like, I've been playing. I've been creating tiny pieces of abstract art with my watercolors - colorful, washy, blendy (is that a word?) playful sweet little gestures of creativity. Some with geometric lines added to them, some focusing on the interaction of the paint and water and brush, all bursting with color. I call it my Beautiful Mess series.
