Faces

For months now I've been drawing and painting people..... filling up sketchbook pages with doodle after doodle of faces. Some are my friends and family (my husband is getting a bit tired of seeing his face staring back at him from the pages of my sketchbook) and many of these faces I draw come from my imagination.

Often I'll be sketching them at night in front of the tv, or while waiting for an appointment, or whenever I have a little downtime. Page after page.

The ones I really like I usually try painting in watercolor, and sometimes find their way into larger illustrations.

Very recently an artist friend of mine suggested that when I post these to my Instagram account, I include a bio about each of them - so that's what I've started doing.

This is Hannah. She normally enjoys coffee, hiking and peanut butter sandwiches but is upset today because her dog destroyed her favorite handbag.

Meet Imogene. She enjoys dance aerobics, knitting, and binge-watching Arrested Development.
